Sivu is self-hostable media delivery. Point it at a folder on your NAS and every subfolder becomes a fast, filterable gallery your clients open from a link. Originals are never touched. Every thumbnail, poster, preview and download size is made once, ahead of time, so browsing never waits on the server.
How it works.
Drop files in a folder
Copy a shoot to your NAS the way you already do. Folders nest however you like.
Sivu indexes and precomputes
Photos and video get AVIF thumbnails, posters, hover previews, colour palettes and a full download ladder. Nothing is generated while someone waits.
Share a link
One link per gallery, or a client account with access to exactly their folders. Turn a link off and it's gone.
Clients browse and download
An instant grid, zero-latency filters, a lightbox that prefetches, and downloads in the exact size they need, single files or a zip.
